The chips I got today were not great. Seemingly discoloured and they do not appear to have been cooked fresh (though I was under the impression that they had been). The taste was off and I could not finish them as they were not particularly pleasing to the palate. On and off quality

Food was appalling. Manager did not even come to see us despite the waitresses telling him. Restaurant was absolutely empty. Definitely not the same restaurant as a few years ago. Food appeared re-heated and no taste at all. Definitely NEVER going back. Don’t waste your money. Definitely better restaurants nearby of a higher quality and better attitude. One positive thing, waitresses were pleasant.

Ordered take away twice here recently for our family. First occasion. Excellent. Hence the return. However, so disappointed. The chips seem to have been deep fried many times, they were hard not fresh!. The fresh roll we ordered was not fresh and had mould! Actually could not believe it!! It was a burger bun that you could buy in a multipack from local a supermarket. The gerkin was from a jar. Small, not like the usual large gerkins you always get from a chippy. Not impressed, will not be ordering again sadly

I have been to this Exceedingly Excellent 5 Star Award Winning Fish and Chips Restaurant called The Two Brothers Fish Restaurant. The Food Hygiene Rating's at this Exceptionally Beautiful and Charming Fish and Chips Restaurant have Exceedingly Excellent 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating's. When I had been for the second time for a takeaway on 19/12/2025 I ordered 2 Large Haddock and 2 lot's of Chips. The Large Haddock and Chips which I had ordered on 19/12/2025 were both very delicious and very tasty and Beautiful indeed. All of the Staff including the Owner of this Exceedingly Excellent 5 Star Award
