Excellent local pub. Lovely staff. Great terrace for early spring / summer drinks. Pizza deal on Monday nights (all for £8) and great lunch deals - either pizette (small pizza) or a lunch set of sandwiches (recently went with niece and nephew and had these lovely chicken bap sandwich thing). Sports for when you need it but not over powering. And great and I mean the best Virgin Mary in South London! And some nice on tap beers. And a great blend of customers… All in all a solid pub! And a lovely set of shops coming along nearly on what I call ‘the crescent’

Love the different and ever changing variety of ales a d bears. On Mondays all pizzas at £7 (Q2 2026) that's a bargain and tastes really good. There are inconsistency in quality of the pizza dough and the bake sometime, but if they getvit right the pizza is fabulous. I'm a regular visitor of over 6 years. The stuff are friendly.

Pretty solid pub, I used to live down the road from here and came pretty regularly. Decent beer selection, pizzas are good for the price. Good place to watch sport, there is one big screen and a number of smaller ones around the pub. Also a nice roof terrace and small rear garden area. I probs wouldn't travel to come to the Chandos but if you're in the area it's decent.

Great place but its inappropriate for the 'I moved down here when North London got too expensive' Honor Oak hipsterish demographic to bring their babies in the pub. I guess there's not much the management can do about that tbh. Against modern parenting the gods themselves rail in vain. There's a curfew for kids so if you want to avoid the nursery vibes go in later. That's my only gripe, other than that it's a great local and the pizza is A+
