I always come to this costa almost every single weekend and never had troubles with the staff they are all very polite and friendly. Today i was served by a barista (lady with blonde hair/bangs/ maybe in her 40s) She was extremely hostile towards me , answered all my questions with head shakes or nods no words, connected the card machine then walked away from the till without saying a word, slammed the coffee on the counter when she was serving it, I said thank you to her and she immediately turned the other way. Was not impressed at all! Went to Costa for some lunch and the staff couldn’t be slower, I had a hungry, crying baby and a male member of staff took about 10mins to take our order and it took 2 or 3 times to repeat the order and for him to type it so slowly. It felt like he was doing it on purpose all while me and my baby were getting stressed, he just didn’t seem to care or offer to take it to our table. This is a lovely café. The service is very quick, and the staff are kind. The food and drink served here is mostly tasty, but the person who I was with didn't really like the coffee. The millionaire's shortbread is delicious. This place has a nice calm atmosphere, comfortable seating areas and toilets.
