Very impressed with the Millstone in the South Gosforth/West Jesmond area. Received first class customer service from Holly, Tom & Cathryn who were all exceptionally polite, helpful and attentive - The Sunday lunches were absolutely delicious, my compliments to the chef. I had the trio of meats which I’d highly recommend, finishing off with a chocolate cookie dough sharer for dessert. Full marks - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I hadn’t been here for over twenty years, and a lot has changed in the world in that time! The staff were so friendly and approachable. Despite it being a busy Friday evening, no one seemed grumpy or down. It’s the little things that make a difference—staff holding the door for you, apologising when they need to quickly pass by to get on with their tasks. One of the team at work organised our Christmas meal and buffet here. Mine and my family’s experience here was one of the best we’ve had in a while. Danny’s service was excellent and he was always quick to help whenever we needed anything. I have a severe allergy and he made sure it never went near me and he helped out my child making our experience very enjoyable. He regularly checked up on us making sure our food and drinks arrived promptly. He made us feel very welcomed which made the visit even better. Overall the food, atmosphere and especially the service was amazing.

We had a lovely Sunday dinner at the Millstone, I’ve a few food intolerances but I was well catered for and offered extras. We shared a lovely bottle of red wine and decided to stay on for more drinks. Danny served us and he’s so lovely and bubbly, nothing was too much trouble at all, he was very attentive.
