Been here on and off over the last 30yrs. Was always big portions of good quality food, on the expensive side but worth the treat. Feels like its diffrent ownwrs maybe? We paid £52 + tip for 2 meals with a nan. The Chicken Tikka main comes wirh smaller rice and FOUR PIECES of Chicken Tikka, the platter looked pathetic. You used to get at LEAST 6 PIECES. The Lamb Rogan was a let down too. I think.they might have gave me a Dopiaza instead. The Lamb was cheap and in small chunks too. Sad to see this place sliding downhill like this.

Called in for Sunday lunch, not having booked a table! Within five minutes the manager sorted us a table for two in his very busy restaurant! We had a fantastic lunch! Not only was the food brilliant, all the staff were happy to please and very attentive with at least six of them chatting away with us! We left feeling so glad we pick this restaurant to have lunch! Absolutely brilliant place. Went for father's day lunch. Service and food were fantastic! As soon as we sat down drink orders were taken and no delay in taking food orders. Food was a good length of time and quality was brilliant. Portions are large and great value for money, had a father's day 3 course special menu on. Would 100% recommend the Bombay Cottage.
