Located conveniently next to the VUE cinema, I have been here once or twice over the years, pretty standard Nandos, the food is of an ok quality for the price though I have found the chicken a little dry. Staff have been personable and friendly when I have been in though on two occasions in the past I have tried to dial in a takeaway order and been left hanging on the phone until I have had to hang up. Often quite busy and not the worst place for a quick meal but there are better options locally.

Went to the Hamilton branch at Palace Grounds Rd for a quick lunch. The usual Nando's formula, you know what you're getting. Ordered a butterfly chicken with spicy rice and garlic bread. Chicken was juicy and had that nice char, Peri-Peri sauce selection as good as ever (extra hot for me). The restaurant was clean and busy but not chaotic. Staff at the counter were friendly enough, though service was a little slow at peak time, waited about 20 minutes for food. Drinks from the self serve machine were cold and fizzy, no issues there. I have to say the food has went downhill. The staff was absolutely lovely. The chicken I got was just so chewy. It didn't melt in my mouth at all. I got 2 sides of halloumi cheese and even that was smaller than before. Last time I was there they was more rectangular, these ones was like as thin as chips. The only thing that was ok was the mac n cheese. It's such a shame nandos at one time did the best chicken. It isn't the case anymore.

The food was absolutely amazing. And you could actually select the Spicy level you want. The ambiance was really amazing. The rates are really on the higher side but the chicken is so soft and tender. The sides are really yum too especially the rainbow slaw and mash
