Nice enough place to sit outside for a coffee. We chose it because a lot of people were sitting outside, but after eating there we realised most were just having coffee and enjoying the location. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. We ordered an avocado toast, which was very underwhelming, and a fried egg and tuna toast, which was alright. However, the “side salads” probably should not have been mentioned on the menu, as they were basically just a couple of tomato wedges and a few rocket leaves. Good for coffees and tasty snacks when visiting the markets. Loved by locals, this place is always friendly and busy. Good coffee and a variety of sandwiches and savoury snacks. The Portuguese custard tarts are a favourite and very authentic! A much better choice than the ubiquitous chain coffee shops in London.
