Popped in to Chippys when I was in the area on a job. Ordered a small Cod and Chips, The Cod was cooked lovely with a nice crispy batter and the chips were equally as nice. Reasonably priced and polite staff. The portions of Chips could be slightly larger but I could not fault the quality of food and the service. I will definitely visit again when I am in the area. Thank you.

Normally we really enjoy our fish and chips from Chippy's but today we were really disappointed with our meal!! The fish was bland and tasteless, the chips were so white in appearance we wondered if they'd been cooked? They were but tasted horrible by far the worst fish and chips we probably ever had!! And all for a pricey £13. Plus a normal portion of chips is plenty for us but when we opened the bag I thought I must have dropped some as there was barely enough for one let alone two of us? I'm really annoyed I wasted £13 will certainly look elsewhere next time!
