What a beautiful little hereford gem. We went for a family Sunday carvery and it was awesome. Beautiful selection of quality meats seasonal and some veg you dobt usually see that complimented the meal no end. Generous portions so wear you lose pants lol the staff are so welcoming and friendly. We will be making this a regular event as the value was phenomenal. Its not the biggest of places which adds to its charm but make sure you book so as to not be disappointed.

We had a takeaway carvery on Sunday, meat was good, rest mediocre, no car parking and local car park £5.90 for 2 hours if not got the App. Back 'garden' is a small yard with 2 x bench tables. Restaurant is upstairs and dogs not allowed inside even on ground level wooden floor. Locals in yard using really foul language constantly, so glad we had a takeaway. Bar floors were very sticky, got that velcro floor feeling, same in toilets. All a bit down at heal but staff were pleasant and service was good and quick. Won't be calling in again though.

Decent place and chilled out atmosphere. Glad we stopped in just to get out of the rain! Staff were great as well even giving us a discount off the wine as it wasn't chilled. If we're ever in the area again we'll definitely stop in.

My family and I went for a carvery here recently and had a really lovely time. One of our party has coeliac disease and is strictly gluten free. The staff were really careful and attentive on this issue and provided alternatives and accommodation really easily with no fuss which was so nice. The setting was really cool in a historic part of Hereford. The building is old and full of character. One nice little bonus was the baskets of sanitary products available in the ladies bathroom stalls. That was a very nice touch.
