A quick visit as this is not my local Sainsburys. Parking is ample, excellent and free for 2 hours with a voucher code either from some local businesses or by purchasing in-store. A Travelator takes you to the store which is large with spacious aisles. The small amount of fresh food I purchased looks to be of good quality. Staff seemed professional and pleasant. I will visit again when I am in the neighbourhood!

The staff are either poorly trained in customer service or don't feel the are required to be the least bit courteous. Visited around 13:50 today and when I got through the self checkout there was a lady trying to get the attention of the member of staff who I presume was manning the self checkout tills. Three times the lady said "excuse me" and the member of staff in question walked past completely ignoring the lady. I intervened as I presumed the member of staff hadn't heard her. Twice I had to say excuse me and when I explained that the lady was trying to get her attention, she quite rudely

Isn't my favourite sainsbury's, they had hardly anything I needed and the fresh produce was seriously in need of attention... ie hairy broccoli. Stock rotation needs to be revisited on the shelves so food isn't wasted, just the basics really. Management need to pay more attention in my honest oppinion.

They now only have 3 manned tills, if you're lucky, and expect customers to do battle with the self-checkouts, where you have to stand and wait for the solitary member of staff supporting them to come to your till, because you're buying something that needs age approval or there is an "unexpected item" in the bagging area. Don't even try to take a trolly load through the self-checkouts! Then don't forget to check out of the car park correctly, else you'll get a nasty letter telling you that you owe them a lot of money for using their car park. There is a wide choice of supermarkets in Hinckley
