£25 for two large fish and chips and sausage. Not too bad considering the fish is pretty large. Down side is that the fish and chips is incredibly oily. It’s that oily that the paper wrapping is drenched in oil and you can smell it too. Tastes good but wish it was less oily as it can leave that bad greasy texture in your mouth. Cooked fresh when you ask for a large which is really nice. Close to a 5 star if they fix the oil.

Marcos fish bar in Birmingham is fantastic. The restaurant is a take out exclusively and is busy. The shop is kept clean and well maintained. The fish portion is generous. The photo may not look it but the large fish and chips is huge compared to even Canadian/American standards. The prices are very good as well. Chips are good and seasoned for you. After eating here I didn’t feel horrible afterwards and even the next day. That’s when you know you’ve had good fish and chips. They do not have gluten free options. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Food is amazing however them and just eat need to sort out their ordering system whilst i understand the issue was from Justeat when a customer rings to complain do not keep talking over them. The guy I spoke to just kept speaking over me on the phone which is poor customer service he also kept going over the same things when all I wanted to do was rectify the error.
