Sensational hospitality and service from the crew at Saffron. Flew in from Australia back in 2024 and had a fantastic chicken dish which was a sign to come back for more. Back to Saffron for the tandoori chicken balti and it was absolutely magnificent. Had to make sure we wrote it down on a post-it note as to not forget what the dish is called. Pappadums with dips to star, mains and then topped off complimentary mint chocolate bites. Mo, Josh and the staff were friendly. The crew went above and beyond to ensure patrons are looked after.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Saffron in Hoddesdon. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful in guiding us through the menu. The menu itself is impressive, offering a wide range of authentic Indian and Bangladeshi dishes. Clean and welcoming, this Indian Restaurant has great selection of food and drinks. Staff are attentive and portion size is great. Food is cooked well and served hot however, flavour/spice lacks in various dishes which is somewhat disappointing. If you’re looking for a nice meal this is a good restaurant, if you’re looking for a really good meal this probably won’t satisfy your cravings.

Visited this restaurant on the 17th Feb service was extremely terrible. The restaurant wasn’t busy only 1 other table i waited over 15 minutes for a jug of water which i had to remind them to bring, they then brought the water 5 minutes later. I ordered a paneer tikka masala and it just tasted like pure coconut and was too sweet. We ordered starters the portions were very small and took a good 25 minutes to come. I told the guy i was ready to order he said 2 minutes then came back 20 minutes later. The only good part was the music in the restaurant. Definitely will not be visiting again and do
