I leave honest reviews of my experience in food places so here’s mine here. First impressions looks nice and clean but empty. The guy at the counter is the epiphany of the quote “ cheer up it might never happen “ so moody for no reason. Talks to you like you’re nothing just a boring character. The breakfast was horrible. My wife had fried tomatoes and they looked like they were “fried” in the microwave as they were still raw. Hash browns were horrid. Crispy outside raw inside. Nice lil traditional cafe in the heart of Roffey. Service with a smile, banging sausage and bacon bap and a breakfast at a good price. Nothing too fancy, does exactly what it says on the tin. Would recommend if you’re ever visiting!

If it’s a greasy spoon you’re looking for?… congrats! You have arrived. Greasy. I felt it was a bit pricey too be honest. This plate here was over a tenner. I know this because I had to go to the cash machine because they don’t do card payments. After withdrawing a tenner, I realised I had to try again and get another tenner out! The staff were ‘ok’… the guy didn’t have much time for me when I was dithering how to make my choice under a tenner. It didn’t work, and the bill rang in at £11.60 or summin’ like that. I’m usually pretty critical when I’m looking for an all day English. I did t expect much here but surprised me a little. The eggs were good not under or over cooked, just right, the beans pretty sure they were Heinz and they were decent, the bacon was a little cold and maybe could have been cooked more but wasn’t under cooked at all and was still nice. Mushrooms were descent, hash browns were descent thought I preferred a little crisp on them, and the avocado was like advocado 😂. The coffee was nothing to rave about but not awful. Overall pretty good. Cost me about £15 but that’s average nowa
