We’re in our 50s are from California and travel a lot. We spent about two weeks traveling around Scotland. After trying many highly rated restaurants that required advance bookings but left us disappointed, we decided to go for pizza instead — and we’re so glad we did! Drinks were pretty good, though only got non-alcoholic. Our server was attentive and nice, which is saving this place from a one star. It looks cute and semi-fancy, the opposite of the food received. I got the calamari appetizer and the spinach chicken calzone. Both were very unappetizing, the calamari tasted like nothing and wasn’t a great texture. The calzone tasted ok, but was leaking fluids (?) and was served with ice cold marinara sauce. I only ate half as I became scared of it throughout the meal. Great experience! Pasqualino was our server. He was very attentive and kind. The food was very good. We got the 3 course meal. The only thing that was okay was truffle carbonara. Personally didn’t care for that pasta. The mousse was very good!
