Visited for afternoon tea today, table all set up ready for us. Menu explained and drinks ordered. The whole experience was just beautiful everyone just seemed so happy and to really be enjoying their jobs. The food was amazing we had vegetarian afternoon teas and everything tasted great the cupcakes were a firm favourite and the veggie sausage rolls! Unlimited hot drinks too which is just unheard of! Everything was just perfect, can’t wait to find another excuse to return would highly recommend.

I will start thanking Saffron for the warmest most welcoming good morning in Ipswich :) It’s a pleasure to see a person happy doing their job! I have visited Applaud with my partner and Saffron was really accommodating and understanding with some changes we required with our order! Everyone working there seems to know their job and enjoying it. As a result the coffee and food are just perfection and wouldn’t have changed a thing.. we will be back very soon and thank you for the great job being authentic and not “chain-like” :)

Me and my wife had a great time eating in Applaud. One of my fave go-to place for breakfast. Food was amazing, drinks are invigorating, and served well by jolly staffs and they are all lovely. I really like the garden setup, feels like your having a nice meal in your own garden and just relax.

This is an amazing gem in Ipswich. My vanilla latte was lovely and I was impressed with Tod’s latte art 🌷 The courtyard garden is a sun trap and we loved relaxing in this beautiful spot. Highly recommended coffee shop! 👏
