Faye Baugh★★★★★I’ve been visiting for years but their new refit is fantastic. It looks fresh, the seating areas are thought out and comfortable. The outdoor area is spacious and well-lit. I love the big green area between the seating area and a horse paddock - it kept my kids very well entertained. The food has really been upgraded from good pub food to the next level. I plan to visit a lot more to try out their pizza night and more dishes from their improved menu. The service we received was great, the chap had a fun personality and couldn’t do more to make sure we had a good meal. Highly recommend.

The decor is modern with a traditional twist - really lovely. Good choice of gins - I opted for a Berkshire Rhubarb & Raspberry. We ordered our meal and the starters arrived quickly. There was a mix up with our main course - but it was sorted quickly. Food was lovely and we would definitely visit again.

We were worried about keeping our bikes safe overnight and they were super-helpful about that as well. The hotel is in a lovely part of Suffolk. Dinner in the garden was great - there was a lovely atmosphere out there. The view from the garden and from our room was stunning. This isn't the most modern or chic hotel but it has an old-school charm and we really loved it. We'll definitely go back.
Richard McLeod★★★★★Sunday lunch for 15 to celebrate my parents' 62 wedding anniversary. Our family included 3 small children, 2 vegetarians, and 3 vegans. Everyone was looked after and loved their food. My choice was the beef and it was the best roast beef I've had anywhere, it could not have been more tender. For any vegetarians reading this, my brother-in-law really loved the cauliflower "steak".
