Ages ago I took my family to Ariana II in Kilburn when we were in London and everyone was hungry for some Afghan food. What started as a simple meal turned into a really lovely experience. This place gets 5 stars from me mainly because my Nan absolutely loved the food, and one of the staff members treated her with so much respect and kindness he even called her “mother.” She still speaks very highly of this place to this day. Ordered the Kabuli Palow and ½ kilo (medium spice) Lamb Karahi and two naans. It was so good we threw some of the rice from the kabuli palow into the karahi to mop up the last bits of sauce. Samira gave us some mint tea on the house as we were so hungry and ate way too fast.
