I love visiting churches and as a family historian, my particular interest is reading all the old memorials and gravestones, of which there are plenty here. Apparently the largest parish church in England, this place had a title upgrade to being called a Minster more recently. As well as including an interesting range of stained glass, there are some impressive painted ceilings. We bought a guide but there are also QR codes so you can follow several different heritage trails. Free to visit but donations appreciated.

Free entrance to the minister. Was more like a drop in cafe/ centre than a Minster. Good to see that the building is utilised and had a lot of visitors but was also sad to see such a stunning building looking less like a place for worship.
