Popped in for tea, two women behind the counter, one stood in front of the fryer, one stood leaning against the counter opposite the till point. There was no queue, so I stood at the order point. A third woman came from round the back, and stood talking with the other two, then another server joined them. So I stood looking at the four. Non of them even acknowledged that I was there. There were other customers in the shop who were waiting for their order. So I stood waiting. Now, I am six foot tall and about 20 stone, not easy to miss you could say. So, I stood. Only fish and chips shop we go to in the area as the food is very good quality however, been disappointed twice in a row now that we've ordered a fish cake and got home to find it not in the bag, it's impossible to check the food before leaving as it is wrapped and not really possible to drive back to get the missing food as the rest of the meal would be cold . Very frustrating. Also think the medium fish is a small personally . Really put us off returning .

Just been to collect fish and chips and first time trying sue downs. Absolutely amazing and the homemade tartare sauce is a lovely extra added touch. Highly recommend and cannot wait to return!

An excellent quality fish and chips shop. Very clean, good quality fish always nicely cooked. The staff are very friendly they also sell their own traditional Hull patties, fish cakes, and sausage. The spam fritters are excellent. There is some outside seating.
