Had a booking cancelled elsewhere in the town and had heard good things about the food. We weren’t disappointed. Food was lovely and the £6 cocktails were very welcome. Service provided by Dougie and his counterpart at the bar was exceptional and certainly made it a relaxed enjoyable lunch. Given there was 6 of us, food all delivered together and the recommendations were good from the team. All in all a great lunch and will be back.

First visit to cafe continental but won’t be my last. We went for an early dinner, the food was great, the cocktails lovely and all reasonably priced. The best thing of all was our lovely waiter Amir who was brilliant at his job. He also let us know about a new rum cocktail he had devised, an ‘old Cuban’. We both had one and it definitely deserves to be added to the cocktail list! Give this place a try, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
