Pretty decent meal. They were/are running a promotion half price on set meal. Displayed outside. Quite good value for money. Taste on point. Portions slightly small on some dishes, but sometimes got to weigh in quality over quantity. The place is very large, warm and welcoming. Seats are comfy and toilets are clean. Service was quick and polite.

I tried the Chef’s Signature Set Menu for 2 and it was the perfect way to try their most popular dishes. Here’s what we had 👇 🥟 Pork Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) – A must-order Shanghai classic. Juicy, comforting and full of flavour. 🌽 Sweetcorn Soup – A little mild for my taste, but still a nice warm starter. 🦆 Crispy Fried Duck with Pancakes – Aromatic crispy duck with fresh cucumber wrapped in soft pancakes… so good! 🍖 House Special Braised Pork with Abalone – Another Shanghai signature. Sweet, sticky sauce with incredibly tender braised pork. Absolutely delicious. 🥬 Dry Fried Gree

A gem in Elephant & Castle for authentic Zhejiang cuisine. The Drunken Crab is a standout – fresh, delicately marinated and full of subtle flavour. The Shanghai Soup Dumplings are also excellent, with thin wrappers and rich, steaming broth inside. The elegant setting and attentive service make it ideal for both casual meals and special occasions. Highly recommended!

Service was just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place for both casual meals and special occasions.
