What a little gem! Beautiful surroundings and a lovely traditional pub vibe. Food is excellent and the staff are lovely. Highly recommended. We have all came today for the Christmas fayre and the food was exceptional! Very reasonably priced considering the quality and quantity. A great pub. Pleasantly greeted by staff as we entered and given a choice of tables. Service was quick, we ordered drinks, which came promptly, and were given time to choose from a varied menu. Food came quickly and portions were large. Quality was excellent. All in all a really a great experience I’d just add that all staff were pleasant and professional

Great pub with excellent hearty food. Stopped here before going to St James Park for the football. 15 mins from the ground. Great pint of Guinness and lovely rib eye steaks and burgers. Definitely recommend pre game. Plenty of parking too.

Food delicious and service great. We went for 12 noon on Sunday and pleased did as when busy it is very noisy but that is our preference to have quieter atmosphere to enjoy food/talking.
