We have visited Viva Cuba several times over the last decade although never got around to reviewing until today. The restaurant has a fantastic and authentic atomosphere. The Cuban music and ambience makes you feel like you are on holiday!! The staff are very friendly, welcoming and attentive. There is a wide selection of alcohol and food. We particularly enjoyed the calamari, large prawns, fishcakes, patatas bravos, chorizo and tortilla. The selection of dips that come with most of the tapas are delicious. Toilets are upstairs and they are clean.

I recently hosted an event for teenagers with rare disorders of protein metabolism at Viva Cuba Leeds and the staff could not have been more accommodating. We had the whole mezzanine area to ourselves, they opened early for our group and we were able to do some workshops and enjoy some delicious food in a beautiful setting. They were willing to work with us to cater for the complex dietary needs of our group. It is rare that our group are able to eat in a ‘normal’ restaurant because of how restrictive their diet is.
