First of all, the place has an amazing atmosphere and is located very close to the National Gallery, so fans of Sherlock Holmes will definitely love it. 🕵️‍♂️ The interior and overall vibe make the experience feel very special and cozy. I also noticed that the menu has a great selection of puddings. Personally, I highly recommend the asparagus risotto. It’s vegetarian but still very filling and satisfying. And if you want a perfect snack to go with beer, definitely order the calamari rings with garlic sauce. The sauce was absolutely incredible!

Absolutely loved visiting the Sherlock Holmes Pub in London. The atmosphere is incredible — cozy, historic, and full of authentic Victorian charm that makes you feel like you stepped into a Sherlock Holmes story. The food was delicious, fresh, and perfectly done, and the service was warm and attentive from start to finish. I especially loved all the unique details and the beautifully decorated interior. It’s not just a pub, but a real London experience full of character and charm. Definitely one of the most memorable places we visited in London, and I would happily come back again.

We had just finished a visit to the Last Days of Pompeii, and decided to give Sherlock Holmes ago for dinner. We arrived at 4pm on a very busy Friday evening. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and managed to fit us in (a group of 7) for 5pm. So we had a few drinks before going up to our table. To be fair to the staff they did warn us there could be a wait for our food to get to our table. We arrived at our table just after 5pm, and after our order for drinks and food was taken, our meals arrived just before 6pm. Believe me when I say this is the best pub in London! Great food, amazing place and 1 min walk from Trafalgar. You must try the Sherlock beer and the beef and raclette pie, my favourites over all. Ps: if you go on Sunday, check the Sunday roast ;)
