Genuinely baffled by the bad reviews on here about the food. I have been coming here for years since it opened and it’s still the best place for carribean food in Luton and actually 1 of my favourite places for carribean food in the UK…and I’ve tried a lot of places! I don’t live in Luton anymore but every time I come back I have to stop by here. We had an order to take away from this place for the first time. Our experience was good but could be better. We ordered macaroni and cheese—it was good but could use more cheese (not much cheese sauce). The fried dumplings were good. The coleslaw was average. The jerk sauce was nice as well but lacked a bit more depth of flavor. The BBQ chicken was okay, but it tasted not very fresh. The worst were the chicken patties. They tasted like very old pastries. Curry goat tasted like it was cooked in heaven, rice and peas was cooked perfectly, plantain was juicy and sweet. I admire your passion, please always keep this passion and keep cooking this heavenly food. My favourite is the stewed ox tail 🤤

We’ve been to this hidden gem quite a few times now and they definitely don’t disappoint. Food is always a chef’s kiss. Very lovely people and even met the chef the first time we visited. They have live music on Fridays and cocktails were at a very good price! Everytime my husband orders drinks on my behalf the lady always double checks with me if I ordered the right thing after coming back from the wash room. Talk about safety as well 🙏🏽 It says they close at 10:30PM and we stayed later as we lost track of time and the drinks were so good and they didn’t even rush us at all. Will always rec
