Always love coming to Alfred’s - all the staff are fantastic, the food is excellent, especially the Fish N Chips! … & I must say, the cocktails are absolutely gorgeous… my favourite is the ‘Long Island Ice Tea 🩶… lovely outdoor space, which on a sunny day is a great sun trap! ☀️ Very spacious, and well decorated indoor seating area, also the toilet facilities are nice & clean. They sometimes have acoustic & quiz nights which are great fun. 🙂… if you’re looking for a good night out I’d definitely recommend Alfred’s 🌟 It’s dog friendly too! 🐾

Sunday Lunch is amazing! Only just started to do Sunday Lunch, and it was gorgeous. 2 courses £15.95. 3 starters to choose from and Beef or Turkey or veg option for main andd 3 desserts. We had leek and potato soup with crusty bread and butter which was delicious, followed by Roast Beef and a Turkey dinner, with carrot swede mash, peas, beans, cabbage, roasted spuds, gravy and yorkshire pudding. Good sized portions. Definitely recommended .

It's a nice large pub with a good range of keg, cask, canned, and bottled beer. Plenty of options for the ones that aren't into beer too. Service was quick and friendly. Loads of seating indoors and outside. Music was a bit bland but quiet so conversation was easy.

Refused a tab, so ordered food and 2 drinks at same time. Asked for food order to be sent to the kitchen when collected second drink which he said was fine. Food came just as finished first drink and was not even the food I asked for. Maybe instead of trying to serve 2 people at once they should concentrate on the first person.
