Fabulous place for breakfast/brunch! Very friendly and warm welcome by the lass who greeted me as I walked in just after 7:30am. Got busy around 8am. Nice vibe and atmosphere. Excellent specialty coffee and great food. All the usual things you expect on the menu. I had the Turkish eggs which were fab and a very generous portion. Highly recommend!

So glad to find this fab brunch spot. Tge friendly and attentive service team made us very welcome and the food came out really quickly. My mushroom and halloumi with eggs was perfect and the long black coffee was just how I like it, with hot water on the side (too many places add the water and I'd rather decide how much for myself). We just had room to share a yummy acai bowl with homemade granola. Wish we had this cafe down in the south East!

Had the Eggs Benedict — the hollandaise was incredibly rich, smooth, and creamy with a lovely buttery, flavor. The halloumi was perfectly done, savory without being greasy. The sourdough was nicely toasted, crispy and delicious. The mushrooms were a tiny bit oily for me, but still tasty. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back again.

Federal is definitely my favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Manchester!! I love how consistent they are, I’ve eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. I also love how they always have specials which keeps things interesting and makes you want to keep coming back. My favorite dish by far is the classic French toast, but the steak sandwich and steak & eggs are always good options too, especially with the Tubby Tom’s hot sauce 😍 The staff are also always so kind and friendly which is very important for the overall experience. My only comment would be that the seating is very tight
