Really good fish and chip shop. The food was spot on, proper tasty, nice and fresh, and good portions too. Can’t fault it for the price, great value for money. The young lady serving, Maisy I think it was, was brilliant fast and very helpful. Overall Crosspool fish bar has proved a hit with all the family. Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend.

What a lucky find. After a chilly morning of riding Snake Pass we caught the scent of fish and chips coming through Crosspool. We followed our noses and ended up at the fish bar, lunch sorted. We ordered small fish and chips and thought that was it, but nope, the free extras kept on coming, beans, sausage, rissol, and so much more. A massive serving of food with the hottest beans I have ever had outside my own kitchen. Cooked to perfection and served with passion and banter. Yup, this will be a regular lunch spot when out and about on the bikes in the Sheffield area, delicious 😋

Went to cross pool fish bar tonight for the first time mainly because the reviews were good, anyt I've given it 3 stars, the chips were nice, very chunky, but the fish, well firstly the batter stuck to the grease proof paper it was wrapped in so lost half of it, but wasn't too bothered when I noticed the batter on the inside wasn't cooked it was like a paste, so I couldn't eat the batter, just took the fish out of it, and the fish itself wasn't the best, and for £.9.50 for a peice of cod I expect better, so my order was 4 cod and 1 large chips it cost £43.00 which is alot of money especially w

Lovely decor n staff. Even poked vinegar top into fishcake to ensure good penetration. BUT sadly although fishcake (Yorkshire style) was good size the fish layer was not good quality. Appeared to be mashed fish mush. Not flaked. Id expect flaked for £2.70.
