This is a great pub/hotel, i have found the staff and the landlord extreamley helpfull and pleasent even when asked about the simpleist of things. I have now stayed here 3 times in 3 weeks due to buisness, the rooms while they are dated and could do with a lick of paint they are very clean and tidy and well stocked. If you like a quirky room ask for room 10 i loved it and thought the best room i had stayed in in a budget hotel. I highly recomend coming here for a drink, somthing to eat and a stay or any one of them.

Im the chair of Newbury Pride and your staff allowed us to host our monthly social at the Bacon Arms on Friday evening and what an amazing evening it was. We felt at ease with the staff as well as the locals. Our community doesn't find many places that we feel completely relaxed in but the Bacon Arms was definitely one of them. So congratulations to them as we will be coming back every other month to you when we are due down that end of town. Thank you all again as it was one of our best experiences ❤️

Had a fab evening out with friends. Had a few drinks and something to eat. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were very welcoming and have created a fab environment. We will be returning for the next live music night. They also have 3 dart boards a pool table and lots of board games for entertainment. My friend had a birthday party here a few weeks ago and it was so good I'm planning having a party here for my daughters 21st Will definitely visit again

A pub im a regular visitor too, busy but quiet enough to chat, staff are friendly and up for a laugh, I ordered food and the food never disappointments, never had a bad meal there. (Last i ordered was pulled pork loaded fries with mac n cheese bites)
