Food was absolutely gorgeous. The quality was extremely high (I did go for expensive items).Even going alone, the staff treat you with upmost respect. The wine had some cork in and could’ve been strained, however the taste really paired well the main course. Anytime that I’m down in Newcastle I’m coming back to 21. To note, the main course did take quite some time and had to ask but was dealt with straight away.

Great restaurant, very nice central location and delicious food. The hospitality was were warm and friendly. I showed up without a reservation for dinner on a busy night and the incredibly kind and funny hostess ( I believe her name was Sarah) made her best to get me a table. I chose 2 course menu option. Pepper steak and the dessert with rhubarb both were very tasty. Great for small groups and dates. Highly reccomended.

As advertised the fixed menu is surprisingly great value for money, we still opted for an a la carte experience, which was the right choice for us! The famed cheddar cheese soufflé was a great start! We then had the deer, it was simply divine, which made the very poor wine selection on offer all the more devastating. When asked for a recommendation to accompany the main course we were served “the Malbec” - tragic. (No wine menu at hand). The desert was a beautiful fresh adaptation off “Williams peer”. Amazing resturant, service was impeccable and the food was amazing 🤩 also gave me macaroons as a sweet little birthday gift at the end of our meal 🩷 Definitely recommend a visit and we will definitely be going back 😊
