I have started attending events here since the local chamber used the space. Since then BNI has moved there for their weekly meetings. The food is always a welcome part bring the meeting to a close. The biggest cost is seeing the buns on the way out. 😂 The cake they supplied for our birthday party was outstanding

Husband took me here today for lunch, as we have eaten here for many years and know they cater for Gluten Free. All hot food on display had individual serving utensils/tongs in each dish. Servers were just lifting any tong or spoon and serving multiple dishes with the same one. This therefore meant the food was not gluten free as mixing the utensils contaminated every dish. Would not trust this cafe any longer to dine in as a Coeliac! My husband had a meal with was cold and chewy yorkshire pudding and I resorted to a cup of tea..

I love this place....but not today. Ordered an ordinary fry and a "fancy" fry. Waiting time was a bit longer than we're used to but it was busy so it's fine. When the frys arrived, the eggs, on both plates, were broken and overcooked. On the fancy fry, as well as the overcooked egg, the black pudding was also overcooked and there was no bacon!! Really disappointed today. Hopefully a one-off.

I had afternoon tea today 17th March with a friend for my birthday. I have had more than a few of these and I have to say it was one of the best. The food was excellent but I have to say the young girl who served us was excellent. So friendly and attentive. Definitely made our afternoon that little bit special. Would highly recommend and definitely will be back.
