“Great staff, prompt service, and great food”

This was our second visit...16/6/26 and unfortunately it will be our last. I ordered a single fish and my husband ordered a large fry.. I wouldn't have called it large .... Everything on his plate was burnt and tasted burnt... like it had been fried in old oil,the chips were hard. I didn't even finish my fish as i started to feel ill and asked for a box and left. It turned that the batter, although it looked cooked, was actually under cooked and the fish was dry. The tea was nice and the staff are lovely. I am still feeling unwell today. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Very slow service - over half an hour for two fish suppers and one portion of onion rings. Batter was awful. Thick. Not crispy. Undercooked inside. It was like cutting through cotton wool. Chips were just ok. We have gone to Lynn's for years. I think we'll go to John Dory's from now on. Very disappointing

Had to grab lunch with the grandchildren over on Halloween break. Promised them great sit in fish and chips and Lynns in Newtownards more than delivered on the promise. Brilliant fresh battered cod. Lovely tasty crisp chips. More than a match for the famous John Longs in Belfast and not as expensive.

£11.50 for a fish supper. The most I’ve paid for a while anywhere else. When I got home and took the box out of the bag, it was lucky if it was 9 inch long. I didn’t expect much from there. I opened the box, and the fish was covered with chips… so I ate them first, and slowly got to the fish. The smallest fish I have ever got from a chip shop. My fork was longer, and nearly as wide. Pathetic! Won’t be going back here again.
