We pre booked a table on a Saturday evening, not really busy either for Saturday PM. I had the ham hock and my husband had the mixed grill. Both were lovely. We then had sticky toffee pudding which was a really good portion. Even though all the staff members we encountered were polite and friendly the only bug bare I had was we were not getting table service when 2 other tables around us were... we had to keep going up to the bar to order our food, even after waiting 20 minutes or more. Someone even came and cleared our plates but didnt ask if we were having pudding even though we had the menu

The food here was really good. All hearty ingredients and presented lovely. The only reason for 4 stars on food and service was that my steak on my mixed grill came medium-well instead of medium-rare like I asked. Also the order was wrong when it came however they very quickly rectified it and we are all more than happy.

The Shropshire Senior Tennis Team, very generously to us to the Hare & Hounds. We had a long wait to be served. However, the young waitress worked hard and did her best to be helpful. Lasagne had been preordered for the entire party. I'm afraid the quality was far from good. The seating was not particularly comfortable but perhaps that was to do with the size of the party. The atmosphere was friendly. There was plenty of parking

We by chance came to the pub, the food and service were both so good When they serve real mashed potatoes you know the food is worth the visit!! I highly recommend this place. ☺️
