I use to go there and i love it to get fish and chips from here it was nice but this is the second time i didn’t get what i expected.fish was oily and metallic like taste and chips were horrible not cooked properly and overcooked and rock soild kind of chips. Never going back there ever again.

The only fish and chip shop in Oldham open till late but the place is filthy the workers have stained clothes and the work stations are filthy, the chips are awful if you look at the potato they are always of the cheapest quality always got black skin and broken. I am suprised health and safety have not a been yet. Really bad standards. Probably got the councillors on tab, the building is crumbling. Mothers Hubbard Bradford what a big difference the quality the service the potato is of the highest quality and chips are crispy, I have eaten all England and can easily say these are the worst.

I am a regular customer at Mother Hubbard’s in Cheetham Hill and have always been very satisfied with the food quality, friendly service, and overall cleanliness, including the restrooms. However, my first visit to the Old Mother Hubbards in Oldham was extremely disappointing. The place was visibly dirty, the tables were not clean, and the air inside felt poorly ventilated and unpleasant. No idea how this place has so many customers. They are the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! From the initial phone call the attitude on the staff members is shocking. Not only can they not take orders online (order was £50+ they charged £94 by card over the phone without even clarifying the order total before taking the amount). Ordered the food, and told them to be ready asap as fasting - once we got to the shop had to wait 25 minutes! Was late to iftaar. Also they forgot items, when ringing back the phone has been off since we collected (2hours now) and rang 65 times - call kee
