Proper old school boozer where locals seem to know each other. Decent prices for the area with a good selection of drinks. Just a bit of a funky smell from somewhere and difficult to get a seat / find somewhere to stand when busy. Loved the buzz.

I have been coming here for a very long time, I am 50 years old, and was born in this local area, but after the landlord threatened to my dog and called me a 'fruitcake', I cannot return. A sad end for a once-great local. I have included a photo of the dog that the landlord threatened! Simba is a 9 month old Staffie pup with a cleff palette.
