Starbucks Coffee

The Starbucks coffee situated in the centre of Peterborough is a standard Starbucks establishment. The exterior of the building is nice and the interior has plenty of seating available, it’s also very spacious inside. Unfortunately they only had blonde roast coffee which was disappointing for me (how can Starbucks run out of coffee beans?). The cleanliness/upkeep of the restaurant was a clear issue, the toilet was dirty, visible grime/dirt on the walls made it unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend sitting in, it’s more of a grab and go location for this reason.

Considering the cost of coffee here I thought it was all in need of some maintenance. The coffee was ok, slightly bitter. The insides were worn and felt tatty. But the worst was the toilet. I don't understand how it could be this bad. Everything was in need of replacing especially the baby change wall mounted unit. Come on Starbucks spend some of that huge profit back on your cafés! I won't be going back

The server was lovely and very friendly. I have a disability and asked if the toilet was open whilst eating here and was advised no…no explanation. It may have helped to explain or be more customer focused and less blunt

I visted here today 10 Feb 2026 and was expecting a pleasant experience my drink was good but the toilets really need upgrading, the staining under the toilet seat in the toilet. I would have expected better and everything looks just worn out. Also people just coming in out of the rain and using up seating without purchasing anything which is already limited it's not good for making a profit.
