We nearly cancelled after the recent reviews but decided to give it a go- and so glad we did. I’m literally sat writing this waiting for dessert I’m so impressed. The food was absolutely spot on, atmosphere great, staff attentive and friendly, and service quick. Portion sizes were extremely generous, and price was extremely fair. Will absolutely be back. Keep it up guys, we live in a world where people just absolutely love to complain, and put people down who are trying their best. We will be back very soon Thank you

The food experience was inconsistent. The antipasti was very good, with standout focaccia that was absolutely delicious, and the Gouda was easily the best cheese on the board. However, the seafood risotto was disappointing for the £20 price point. Only one prawn and three mussels, although it did arrive piping hot. The salad di carne was also missing salami there was sort of other ham/meat which wasn’t great, which was noted, though the staff did apologise and offered a complimentary liqueur, which was appreciated. Sorry to leave a negative review but my pasta was undercooked and given to the wrong person. I am a celiac and preordered a gluten free bolognese. My dish was given to another member of our group who tucked in early. My un gluten dish arrived shortly after. I soon realised that I was eating normal pasta with the tell tale tingle in the mouth and very quickly accelerating heart burn. There is a breakdown in coms from the kitchen to delivery staff. Firstly , the food is always good here , however what it consistently fails to deliver is the little details that could make it a far better experience for everyone . There never seems to be a front of house that proactively manages anything , the staff dont seem to know the menu , or appear to have been trained correctly - no table water offered , no spoons provided with spaghetti (and it’s an Italian restaurent), two of the mains were sent back as they weren’t correct, no small plates offered for a shared starter , had to ask for pepper, empty glasses not cleared , no one checked to see if
