I'm on holiday from Canada and was out shopping with a family member and we decided on a coffee break. We both very much try whenever possible to support independent rather than chain. We placed our order and took our seats. The Chai Latte and Cappuccino were very nice. I ordered a lemon pistachio slice which looked lovely however I could not get my fork through it. The staff took this and replaced with another. I believe the slices were still frozen which is totally understandable. However as the owner of a Tea Room in Canada was the fact when I stated the slice was frozen, could not be cut,

It's always hard to find good independent coffee that doesn't taste like a tasteless, watered down Americano which you can literally buy anywhere these days, even McDonalds! (yuck). They serve proper, flavoursome coffee and roast it themselves in house. It is now my favourite place and has the best tasting coffee selection I have ever had locally. Family run business too which is great. I thoroughly recommend buying Robusta, Single Origin, Winter Nights or their limited edition if you're really into your coffee and appreciate diverse tastes.

Delicious coffee and was thrilled that the bagels are proper ones made with a shiny exterior and nicely chewy interior. Definitely plan to come by when I'm in the area again. Good vibe, good music volume, comfortable lighting.

This is usually my coffee spot in Poole. The coffee is always good, bold and strong flavours so you know it is a good coffee. Friendly staff and the shop is relaxed and comfortable. The flap jack is always good along with the sandwiches. You cannot go wrong here.
