When I visited, I was really put off by the state of the kitchen area. There was a strong sewage‑like smell coming from the back, and I noticed what looked like a grease trap leaking onto the floor. I even saw staff using a sieve to deal with the grease instead of proper maintenance, which didn’t inspire confidence in their hygiene standards. Overall, the conditions I witnessed were far below what I’d expect from anywhere serving food. I can only hope it has improved since then.

Beautiful selection of cakes. Perfect place to sit outside for lunch. We enjoyed a toastie each. One of them Ham & Cheese the other Cheese & Onion. The quality of raw white onion in the cheese & onion toastie was a little too much. Will def return for a breakfast and some cake!
