The food and atmosphere at Nando’s Deepdale are fantastic, as expected—but the service at the till really let the experience down. Customers needing to order at the counter due to allergies were left waiting without acknowledgement, despite staff being present and busy with other tasks. I wasn’t acknowledged until I actively called on a team member, who appeared disengaged and was simply waiting for food to finish cooking so he could serve a table. The service and atmosphere were pleasant, but unfortunately the food let the experience down. The chicken had an off smell and arrived unusually quickly, which made me question whether it had been properly cooked. Later that evening, both my friend and I experienced significant digestive issues after eating there and really bad stomach ache.

The food is to a high standard but the portions of wings and rice are fair too small for the pricing. It feels like the portions get slightly smaller whenever I come.
