Didn’t book for a Thursday evening. Got told they can not fit us in (a couple). Luckily, we saw two friends leaving so we asked for their table. The waitress reluctantly agreed. For the two hours we were in there, three tables around ours were never seated. Fish and chips was OK, nothing special. Same with the fish finger butty my wife ordered. I arrived at 4pm, to be told there were no Sunday roasts left. I would’ve appreciated a heads up as this was the only reason we were coming - not to mention that this has happened twice in a row now. We, three of us, sat down and ordered two starters to share. We had to ask for side plates and were given two. When clearing the table, we asked the waitress for 15/20 minutes before we have our mains, where she straight away said no they’ve already been cooked.
