First time at Efesus Kitchen We were looking forward to trying out the new local restaurant that has not long opened and it didnt disappoint! After the original owners of Flames in Dunmow left we were all wondering where they had gone! The answer... Efesus Kitchen. I booked this as a surprise for my fiance and on arrival we were looking forward to a fabulous evening. First impressions- well presented exterior and modern, simple and welcoming interior, the building has character but has been updated. lots of seating, great lighting, plesant background music making conversation nice and easy

This is hands down the best Turkish restaurant I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to quite a few in London. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. The portions were huge, definitely great value and every single dish tasted amazing from start to finish. It’s genuinely some of the best food we’ve ever tried. We left completely full and already talking about when we can go back. Absolutely outstanding. The people were also so lovely & their cocktails were 10/10 💥

We visited Efesus Kitchen Grill & Bar on a Saturday night, table booked at 7pm. We had to park down the road from the restaurant as the car park was completely full. Something to be mindful of. The place has a great vibe to it. Warm, welcoming & bustling. We were seated by the entrance, which got a little chilly every now and again with people coming and going. Probably not an issue in the summer. Unfortunately nobody served us for 40 minutes. In the end one of us had to walk to the bar to ask if we could have our order taken. I appreciate it was busy at 7pm on a Saturday, however felt a 40

Plenty of parking and nicely designed restaurant, very elegant decor and instantly felt welcomed by the staff. You can tell they have invested allot of money to make this place look lovely. We had a hot mixed meze starter for £18 with delicious fresh bread and dips. I always have calamari and this was honestly the best I have ever had. The filo pastry with melted cheese was gorgeous and the falafel and hummus was delicious. I don’t eat pork but husband said it was very nice. We were both very full but also had a main dish.
