Our go to cafe’ whenever there is Gail’s in the area. We’ve been to Gail’s in Reading many times already and the staff have always been friendly and welcoming. I also feel like the selection of pastries and sandwiches here is bigger compared to the Windsor branch. The staff are always very helpful and accommodating. Most of the time it can be quite difficult to find an empty table because it’s always busy, but that just shows how popular it is. We really love Gail’s, so we’re always happy to wait. Even if we end up sitting at two different tables sometimes, we still choose to come here.

I visited reading for the 1st time on Thursday and had to visit Gails on Friday 19th 16.31pm. I was unsure about allergens and Imogen helped me to assist me with the details she was lovely had great customer service! I was drawn between the Blueberry Muffin & the Blueberry Brioche. I decided and was recommended the Muffin as I wasn’t too keen on custard which was an ingredient in the Brioche. I spent £3.60 definitely worth it! It was fresh, soft and melted in my mouth absolutely delicious! shout out to the baker

My first impression was with the staff working during the day I went - they were very friendly and kind. The service also efficient and with good explanation when I asked about the Summer Coffee and other food they sell it. The scone was really good and would go there again to buy more if I have the chance next time.
