Busy day -very few staff on. Special mention for Abbie, always super friendly and personable. Always a smile for everyone even when it’s very busy and she’s juggling a million things at once. She’s an asset to the pub - give her a raise !. Also a mention to Jake on the bar, v quietly getting on with his job, never walks past a dirty table. Quick service from him for order and pay.

We booked for Christmas dinner for the first time. The booking process was straightforward and we were sent a number of reminders to reassure us that all the preparations were in place. The whole meal was excellent, the food was well-prepared and very tasty. We were given as much time as we needed between courses and the staff were great, friendly and helpful. The dining area was busy but not overcrowded and we all enjoyed it a lot. We will definitely book again for next year.

Used to love this pub but the smell hit hit me when I walked through the door. It whole place needs a refurb- carpet and chairs. Such a shame as it used to be a great place. As lovely as the food was I wouldn’t want to visit there again
