Much improved venue. This place has bags and bags of character. Went down for kelham jazz festival and it was a bangerm there was a great band playing and the bar service was fast and personal. Couple of people slightly ruined the night by throwing a whole cupboard on me and my partner, but that's by the by. Honestly couldn't fault the place. It's rustic charm and great beer selection are heaps of fun. The quiz here is good too, but you gotta get in quick coz it's always rammo.

Such a cool place to hang out. The bar man was chatty, drinks reasonably priced and live music. There was a seperate room where the live music was being played so you can be away from the crowd while you listen. We love Jazz and with Trippets closing we are looking for a new place to wind down. This may be a contender.

A great pub with a fantastic atmosphere. The live music and events that go on weekly are always fantastic and the staff are very friendly, even when it is super busy! Great communication when asking about hosting an evening there and would recommend to anyone who like Kelham Island.

We had a visit here as strangers to then be welcomed like friends. Autism friendly, vibrant, welcoming bar with staff that go above and beyond. There is a lot to look at and affordable drink prices. You can hire out the venue, and they have film nights and are now are open on Mondays as an 'Autism friendly night'. I could not recommend somewhere more. They are considerate people who I know their business will grow and thrive. Please support this amazing purpose in welcoming neurodivergents. This visit was insightful, and I love their herb garden!
