Met my two brothers while visiting Birmingham. We thought we were the only customers and then the barmaid brought us a plate of chicken tickets and a basket of chips between us. I said we hadn't ordered any food,she said that its ok and insisted we have it. We believed that the food was complimentary. We were then told the food was for another customer in a different area of the bar and the barstaff insisted we pay for the food. We explained that we hadn't ordered the food and that we were led to believe it was on the house. I paid for the food but feel we were very badly treated.
