As a fellow British Cantonese I felt so uncomfortable here... Me and a friend went here during the evening and instantly got weird, unwelcoming vibes. The policy of having to order one item per person is quite peculiar as I have never come across it before to "support a small business", especially after having a big dinner and just wanting a sweet treat to share. I had previously never felt scared to ask for something at a food place but here, I didn't dare ask if I could get an extra spoon 🙈 Plus, throughout, we felt as though staff were constantly watching and pressuring us. Went today with a friend! It was a chill Monday and we enjoyed some sweets. Service was quick and the ladies at the tills were nice! Some people complained that one item has to be ordered per person in some reviews.. but it makes sense! The place is small and if you occupy space without ordering anything it’s honestly a loss for the owner and consequently, for the staff. A bit of empathy towards small business owners nowadays would be nice! I will surely come back 💓

Confused by the 1 star reviews because the service we received was great! Friendly staff and the perfect dessert for my cravings. I was craving a specific Filipino dessert (gulaman) that I find nearly impossible to find here, but this place provides the niche Asian desserts that I love! I ordered the Malaysian cha cha which was delicious and I’ll definitely be returning to try others! Thank you !!

I am very disappointed in this cafe. This is me and my fiancée's favourite place. I used to vouch for it as a returning customer and constantly raved about how delicious the food is and how good the drinks are. I have been going here since before they even built the second upstairs part and there was just plain brown seating and barely any customers. No decorations or anything but what kept me returning was the service and the quality of food. Recently we decided to come back and take our online friend there to let him try it.
