Very good vibe and decent service. Food was also good but the foil was wrapped in the wrap so it is very easy to eat the foil. Fair price I'd say also. Service wise I just wanted to be offered lemon when ordering tonic water but I suppose not many people order that way. Not a frequent pub visitor/ reviewer but really if the wrap is wrapped better I'm considered to revisit for the wrap and vibe time to time. All in all maybe a 4.3/5 Star.

Came here with work, popped here for a couple pints on my own, staff are very friendly,, pints are icy cold, they WILL! And I mean WILL, look after you, even there locals introduce themselves, lovely bar, nice and chill, good tunes, nice pints, and food to die for, I’ll be popping back from hartlepool just for more food and the banter! 10/10 reccomend! Come here if you can, you really won’t be disappointed!

Red Lion reborn... Definitely nicer than before from a decor sense and much more open to new crowds and families. Went for the first quiz night (won of course), it was a very fun well organised event. I shed a tear for the pool table spent many a year on that... But life moves on, goodbye red lion, hello the terrace.

Stumbled upon this pub after struggling to find any others in the area. Glad I did as they have a great selection of beer on tap, friendly service and the mixed grill highly recommended.
