I popped in for some food and a drink, after walking from the town; I haven't been to this cafe in many years and was hoping it would be a nice lunch. I ordered the soup, with a cheese toastie and a glass of sparkling water - which somehow totalled at £13.20. The girl working on the till was very sweet and patient, and the atmosphere is nice when you have a view of the pond. However, for the price, I expected the food to be much better. We loved this place. We have lived in Spalding for 6 years and have been meaning to go. So glad we did. Beautiful museum and gardens. The cafe is a family run cafe. The food is delicious 😋, especially the breakfasts. Katie made our museum tour really interesting and she took time out to explain the history to us. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her job.

Lovely discovery of this venue! A cold rainy day, but we sat inside & enjoyed a great meal. Staff were very friendly & service was good. Nice museum in the main house too - lots of interactive displays & interesting.
