Monday. A day normally reserved for crushing boredom and regret. Yet, there I was, sitting with a friend, attempting to find sustenance. Now, I had read the reviews for this place, and my hopes, frankly, were sky-high. Usually, this is a recipe for disaster. Usually, high expectations lead to the sort of crushing disappointment you only get when a British sports car breaks down in the rain. But not this time. Let’s start with the economics, which are frankly staggering. They offer a lunchtime menu for £11.99. For that, you get a main course and a drink. And not just tap water with a sad slice

Me and my family went to angeliques for my nieces 15th birthday for breakfast I ordered the French toast and the berry go round smoothie the drinks did take a little while to arrive but the food saved the day. My French toast was delicious the brioche was so delicate and light when it first arrived I was so taken back by the size of the dish but when I cut into it the bread was so soft and thick and light it was a delight and the smoothy was very tasty and fresh. I’ll definitely be back!

Visited Dec2025, for a quick non-Xmas dinner. A nice place, good service, tasty food and decent wine list. Menu is broadly Amero-Italian, comprising around pasta, risotto, pizza, steaks, pork ribs, burgers and mains salads. Wine list is comprehensive, covering the key grapes from the key countries. Portion sizes are generous. The food is very well prepared, properly cooked, balanced seasoning and absolutely delicious.
